Our vision is to become a multi-cultural church that displays the love of Jesus Christ, inspires hope for the hurting, provides guidance to the lost, and gives help to those in need.
The mission of Throne Of God Ministries is to declare and demonstrate the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our community by reaching out in love and respect to people from every background.
These are the core values that will guide what we do in THRONE OF GOD MINISTRIES.
Live Life In The Spirit: The throne of God can only be accessed in the spirit as it is written in John 4:24 “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth”. Therefore Throne Of God Ministries encourages every member to live life in the spirit by practicing, as much as possible, such spiritual disciplines as study of and meditation on the word of God, prayer, fasting, worship, service to God and others, and submission to God’s will above your own. It is written in Galatians 5:16… Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
Put Others First: God delights in relationships that are borne out of genuine love because genuine love never seeks his own good but the good of the other first. In Throne Of God Ministries we believe in putting another first before ourselves as we are commanded in 1 Corinthians 10:24 “Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being”.
Philippians 2:4 makes this point as well “Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others”.
We also believe that we are obligated to bear the burdens of others as we are instructed to do in Romans 15:1 “We then who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves”.
Show love & Kindness To One Another: In Throne Of God Ministries we encourage our members to demonstrate God’s love by showing love to one another and looking out for the interest of other members and others, as we are commanded to in 1 John 4:7-8 “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love”. We should find every opportunity to help one another … Galatians 6:10 “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith”.
We also encourage our members to treat one another with respect and kindness, and to refrain from judging one another too harshly, even in their failures because we all make mistakes. As Ephesians 4:29 instructs us “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers”.
The Word Of God Is Ultimate: The Bible is the one and only authority in Throne of God Ministries. John 1:1 states “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”. Everything eternal and valuable begins and ends with the Word of God. Human wisdom, no matter how reasonable, intelligent or relevant it may appear, is secondary to the word of God.
Prayer Is Vital: Throne of God Ministries will be a house of prayer and the members will be known as a people of prayer (Matthew 21:13 And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,… ” and Isaiah 56:7 … For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations”).
A strong prayer life is vital to sustain our spiritual focus. Prayer is an evidence of humility and it shows God that you are dependent on Him. As a result He releases upon you that enabling grace so that you are able to achieve the unimaginable that He has called us to do
Commitment: Throne of God Ministries believes in the commitment of members to the all-around growth and success of the Church. As a member of this assembly, you are a member of the body of Christ and every part of the body is important and must be functional. To fulfil our part, we encourage every member to find a place in the church to serve, and do so with purpose (Colossians 3:23-24 23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ).
Evangelism. In Throne of God Ministries, we believe that our appreciation for being saved is demonstrated by our willingness to bring others to the knowledge of Christ so they can also be saved. The outflow of love and grace to a world that does not know Him ensures the inflow of grace, resources, and increased influence to accomplish the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20 19 Go [a]therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you …).
We Are Servants: In Throne of God Ministries, serving others is Paramount. Therefore, every member is taught to have the heart of a servant (including the pastor and all the leaders) because we are called to serve and not to be served (Mark 10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve …).
Those in need around us must feel our presence by the love-motivated service which we render to them, as we are called to do (Isaiah 58:10 If you extend your soul to the hungry And satisfy the afflicted soul, Then your light shall dawn in the darkness, And your darkness shall be as the noonday).
Giving: In Throne of God Ministries we believe everyone should give cheerfully and generously as he/she has been blessed by God (2 Corinthians 9:7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver). We encourage our members to give, not only to the church or to men of God, but also to others (within and outside the church) who may have need. Proverbs 11:25 assures us that a generous person will prosper.
